Phoenix Girls Night Ideas

We all know the power of a much needed Phoenix girls night out to blow off some steam and break up your routine! Here are some of our favorites that will get you out of your rut and comfort zone!

Are you and your ladies part of the artsy crowd? Get your hands dirty while enjoying BYOB beverage at a Desert Dragon Pottery Dirty Hands Friday class, take a BYOB painting class at Art of Merlot, or sip wine or mimosas from the in house bar as you paint at the Brush Bar. Want to try something unique for your Phoenix girls night and learn how to blow and pull glass? Check out Circle 6 Studios and take a class or workshop! At the beginning of the month, go downtown to the First Friday Art Walk and shop local artisans selection of paintings, jewelry, and baubles.

Have some foodies in your friend network? Visit some of the great restaurants and bars on our Foodie Favorites list. And this might sound kinda crazy - but delight the foodies in your social circle with a movie at some of our favorite dine in theaters and see a film as you sip wine and delight your taste buds. Or, if a little retail therapy is in order, satisfy your inner shopaholic at some of our favorite boutiques, like Poor Little Rich Girl. Where you can find barely worn brand name duds and locally made jewelry and decorations.

If culture is what you crave, the Desert Botanical Garden has several festivals and food and music nights featuring local groups. Chocolate and chilies anyone? It's music to my ears! Do you wanna get your cowboy on and go back to our wild, wild west roots? Visit the Buffalo Chip Saloon, the watch free live bull riding, take a trip to the olden days with a visit to Rawhide, or boot scoot and boogy to live music out at Greasewood Flat. If you want to get in on the action and satisfy your inner Annie Oakley, Ben Avery Shooting Range has a free ladies only class on the 2nd Tuesday of each month for women, taught by women. And AZ Shooter's World has free Friday "ladies nights" from 9am to 9pm with free gun rental, instruction, one hour of range time, eye and ear protection. All you pay for is ammo and targets!

If you want to break a sweat while you bond, get together a team of girlfriends and do a run or walk to raise money for a cause. Some runs ask you to gain sponsors through your friends and family, others simply donate part of the entry fee. Release your tension in a heart healthy way, and you'd be amazed at the bonding that can happen over a 3 mile walk!
