Phoenix Car Auctions

Arizona is home to several Phoenix car auctions and shows.

The most recognized auction is the Barrett-Jackson. For almost 40 years, the Barrett-Jackson has been known for a fine collection of collector vehicles ranging from one of a kind cars, to exotics, to muscle cars. Taking place at Scottsdale's Westworld in January, all week passes range from $100 to $160. Single day tickets are between $12-$25, and ticketholders can purchase entry into the Lifestyle Pavilion which features wine tasting, culinary samples, cocktails, spa services, fashion shows, and entertainment.

Another popular car auction is the Russo and Steele. Russo and Steele began in Scottsdale in 2001 and specializes in Muscle cars, European Sports Cars, and Hot Rods. This auction is one of the top three in the United States, and has a unique feel because there is no separation between the buyers and the automobiles. Creating a boxing ring feel, the seating circles the auction arena and maintains a high energy, intimate environment. Tickets to this Phoenix car auction range from $20 for one day to $80 for all five days in January.

Another January car auction is RM Automobiles held down at the Arizona Biltmore Resort and focuses on classic cars and vintage automobiles. RM Automobile Auction was started in 1991 and has grown to be an international operation that holds auctions in Arizona, Florida, Michigan, California, Pennsylvania, Monaco, and England. This auction is for more serious enthusiasts, cost of entry is $120 and admits two people, and other divisions of RM include a full restoration shop which has won several awards for their restored vehicles.

Gooding & Company is another January car auction held down at Scottsdale Fashion Square. Cost of entry is $30 for one person to all events, and $200 allows you to bid and reserves two seats at the auction. This auction also occurs on Amelia Island and Pebble Beach in Florida and focuses on iconic classic, sports, and racing cars.

The last Phoenix Car Auction that closes out a January full of wheeled wonders is the Silver Auction which takes place down at Fort McDowell Casino and features more "affordable" collector cars and the lowest admission fee of $18. Silver Auctions came to AZ in 1992, and holds 20 auctions a year in the Western US and Canada.
